Having a group of journalists attend a New Age education centre called the Energy Clinic, must have been a first this week.
The occasion was courtesy of Legal and General's press team and included making various noises and sinking New Age drinks.
The morning began with all the hacks sitting in a circle, arms raised, making assorted humming and babbling noises to energise various parts of the body.
Once that had been done, bemused journalists were then served up energy drinks made of rosebud and ginger root - each of which tasted disgusting.
There was also a New Age massage and five element lifestyle check on offer, but Backchat politely declined and headed for the nearest KFC.
