Yorkshire law firms Keeble Hawson and James Kendall have merged.
The new firm will be called Keeble Hawson and will specialise in corporate law, with have 24 partners and 48 fee earners.
Senior partners from both firms said the deal would be mutually beneficial.
Tony Gregory of Keeble Hawson, said the deal would enable the firm to expand in Leeds.
And Jim Gervasio of James Kendall said its new Sheffield base would enable them to expand into South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
