Director of communications at Lloyd's, David Peel, was a little surprised to get a call from a Daily Telegraph journalist recently informing him of an interview with Lord Levene.
It is understood the new Lloyd's chairman has been keeping up his contacts with the national press.
But he often forgets to tell the internal communications team of his plans.
Poor Peel is finding it hard to settle in, but has been doing the rounds of managing agents asking everyone in the market to "speak with one voice".
Backchat hopes that the ultimate spinmeister, Peel, is not losing his touch.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
