Liberty Syndicates has announced the merger for the 2005 year of account of its two syndicates at Lloyd's, Syndicate 190 and Syndicate 282.
Merged Syndicate 4472, it said, would result in increased service levels to brokers and clients, improved returns and reduced costs.
In the newly created role of managing underwriter, Andrew Elliott will take responsibility for business opportunities, reinsurance and insurance risk
management.
As active underwriter, Tom Corfield will be responsible for risk acceptance and promotion of the merged syndicate.
