Kevin Cracknell departs nine months after promotion

Lloyds Banking Group’s general insurance finance director Kevin Cracknell is leaving the company after just nine months in the role, Insurance Times understands.

He is leaving the group to pursue other interests, but it is not yet clear where he is going or who will replace him.

Cracknell was promoted to GI finance director at Lloyds at the end of October 2011 to replace former finance head Stephen Hughes.

Cracknell was previously planning and reporting director, insurance at the banking group. Before that he was business controller of the European division of life insurer Old Mutual. He has also held roles at Resolution and Aviva.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
