Lockton raids Marsh to boost energy team

Lockton has appointed Brett Conway as an executive director in the Energy team, part of Lockton’s Global Risks Division.

Conway’s role will be to develop and produce new business, supplementing the Energy team’s existing knowledge and resources.

“In the current environment, with credit tight and oil prices low, energy businesses across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia are united by a common concern to cut costs. We can use our knowledge and experience across all markets to help them do that.”

Conway has been a broker for 19 years and joins Lockton from Marsh. He has also worked at Miller, Energex and Jenner Fenton Slade.

Paul Jack, executive chairman Global Risks, welcomed Conway to the team. “Lockton has a highly regarded energy team. Brett will add to our experience and help us build our profile still further.”
