Barnes and Harvey join from A J Gallagher

Lockton Companies LLP has hired two new associates to the financial risk division.

Calvin Barnes and Drew Harvey, both formerly of A J Gallagher and Oxygen, will join after completing their notice periods.

Barnes has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance market and specialises in delivering insurance solutions to financial and commercial institutions, with specific focus on the asset management sector.

Having previously headed the Heath Lambert Worldwide directors and officers and financial institution divisions, he left to set up the management risks practice at Oxygen in 2007 and transferred into the international financial institutions business of A J Gallagher in 2011.

Barnes has represented a range of high profile global clients and has developed several market leading coverage solutions, for the asset management industry.

Harvey has eight years experience in the financial insurance market, specialising in the private equity and commodities sectors. Previously with Heath Lambert, he left to become a founder of the management risks practice at Oxygen and remained there until moving to A J Gallagher in 2011.
