Former claims strategy head to take on business change director role as Allianz promotes from within
Allianz Insurance has appointed Ibi Moghraby to the position of business change director. The role was previously held by Ian Ashton.
Moghraby’s most recent role was as Allianz UK’s claims strategy and customer experience head. He first joined Allianz 12 years ago on its corporate management graduate scheme.
During his career with Allianz, Moghraby has held senior positions at branch level, including head of SME direct markets in Lancaster. He has also worked as the managing director of Allianz Business Services Ltd (ABSL).
Allianz chief operating officer Stephanie Smith said: “Ibi has a wealth of business and change experience having worked in various Commercial roles. I’m really pleased we have been able to promote from within and believe this appointment reflects Allianz’s continued investment in developing the talent of our people.”
She added “Ibi‘s expertise, passion and energy will be invaluable in this new role and I look forward to working with him during this exciting time for the business.“
