NU, Sterling and Brit to use service

Claims negotiator Lorega has signed a deal with Aon Private Clients to provide loss recovery insurance to its customers.

The broker will offer the service to clients of six of its major insurers, including Norwich Union, Sterling and Brit.

John Sims, Lorega’s chief executive, said the deal was a big development for loss recovery insurance, which he believes will soon be as commonplace as legal expenses insurance.

“This is a major breakthrough – Aon is the leading high net worth broker, and this shows a realisation and acceptance of the services we can provide and value we can add,” he said.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
