Easyscheme allows brokers to manage policies and upload information

LV= Broker, the arm of LV= dedicated to writing broker business, is launching a new technology platform for schemes business.

The new platform, called Easyscheme, helps brokers set up and manage policies within a scheme.

Easyscheme allows brokers to account individually for each policy placed within a scheme, add risks on a daily basis and automatically upload the supporting data, known as bordereau information, to the LV= Broker back-office system.

This means each policy will be on LV= Broker’s books from the start of the coverage period. LV= claims this will improve claims handling, data quality and overall account management.

The technology has been developed to bolster LV= Broker’s scheme offering after taking on several large schemes in recent months. It is available for all commercial package insurance products.

LV= Broker commercial lines director Mike Crane (pictured) said: “We are constantly looking for ways to make it easier for brokers to do business with us and this technology will transform the way that brokers transact schemes business.

“It is slick and user friendly, and automatically delivers bordereau information directly to our back office. We have really grown our schemes business in the past year and this new technology will support our continued growth in this area.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
