Policy allows 100% online processing
Insurance firm LV=Broker has launched an online product for specialist vehicles that aims to provide brokers with better rates for a wider range of customers.
The product, which is part of its Highway Specialist Vehicle Insurance range, provides 100% online processing for off-road and military vehicles as well as motorhomes, and American, classic, custom, kit and replica cars.
The product is complaint with the Motor Insurance Database for all specialist risks and is available on the brokers’ software house Open GI. It is due to be released shortly on the alternative houses CDL, TGSL and SSP.
LV=Broker personal lines director Michael Lawrence said: “We are always looking for ways to make it easy for brokers to do business with us and offering a fully electronic product streamlines the whole process and saves brokers’ time.
“Highway Specialist Vehicle Insurance offers EDI functionality across a wide range of vehicles, making it easy for brokers to write business for the more unusual vehicles on the road.
“The expanded underwriting footprint also opens the product up to a larger audience and the new targeted rates offer good value for money for a wide range of customers.”
