LV= has unveiled plans to expand its Ipswich operation.

The insurer, which employs around 130 people in Ipswich, said that following a record year of growth it is expanding its claims division and is looking to add 50 new staff.

LV='s office in Ipswich handles car insurance queries within the companies’ general insurance business.

LV= general insurance operations director, Peter Horton, said: “LV= is going through a period of significant growth so it’s a very exciting time to join us.

"With many other financial companies in the Ipswich area making cut-backs, we are actually expanding so this not only means that there is the opportunity to join us but also lots of great career prospects."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
