The army major found guilty of cheating to win the top prize in TV quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, faced charges of dishonest dealings with two insurers last week.
Major Charles Ingram appeared on Friday before Salisbury Crown Court to face two charges of dishonesty.
The first charge accused Ingram of obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception in 1997. The charge alleges that Major Ingram obtained cover with Zurich Municipal by lying about his claims history in a policy application.
On the second count, Major Ingram is accused of securing cover from Direct Line in July 2001 by lying about the number of claims he had made in previous years.
The case was adjourned for a further preliminary hearing at Bournemouth Crown Court on 5 June. Major Ingram was remanded on unconditional bail.
