The Stobart Group plans insurance broking arm after success of legal venture
Logistics firm The Stobart Group is planning to launch an insurance broking arm.
The group has received FSA approval to operate as an insurance broker. The Warrington-based firm launched Stobart Barristers in May to offer legal advice to corporate and private clients in the UK.
The legal division, based in Manchester, will now add insurance broking to its services under the watch of managing director Trevor Howarth.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
