Anne Hudson has left Ecclesiastical to join Markel
Markel International has appointed Anne Hudson as business development manager in its retail division, Markel (UK).
Hudson previously spent five years at Ecclesiastical, where her roles included regional manager, national broker relationship manager and, latterly, head of business marketing at its head office.
Steve Carroll, managing director of Markel (UK), said: “This is a new senior position and Anne will be working closely with me and other members of the senior management team in helping to plot the strategic direction of the company.
"In addition, she will have overall responsibility for marketing, distribution, and research and development across all facets of our business.”
Carroll added: ”We are delighted to have such a highly qualified and experienced individual on board and I am sure that Anne will prove to be a valuable addition to our management team as we tackle the many challenges that lie ahead.”
