Groves promoted from UK role
Marsh has appointed Jonathan Groves as leader of its captive consulting practice for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Based in London, Groves will have overall responsibility for new business, team management and the development of captive consulting services across the region.
Groves joined Marsh in May 2006 as leader of the UK captive consulting practice, which provides consulting services covering all aspects of captive insurance companies, such as feasibility studies and strategic reviews, as well as general advisory work with both clients and colleagues.
The practice also works with clients to identify the options available to migrate captives, domicile issues and the implications of captives in merger and acquisition activity.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
