Marsh has poached two members of the Pricewater-houseCoopers (PWC) forensic accounting team to join ex-Cila president Andy King to create a new claims services division.

The two PWC staff are Neil Greaves and Ian Peters who will be part of the new operation, Marsh's UK Forensic Accounting and Claims Services Practice (FACS).

Michael Penney from Marsh's power and utilities practice also joins the team. The FACS practice will include 25-30 members of Kroll Associates.

FACS is designed to assist firms that have suffered a loss, arising, for example, from property damage or a commercial dispute, to prepare and manage the claims process with insurers.

Among the sectors in which FACS is currently operating are construction, food and beverage, and legal and professional services.

FACS will communicate with loss adjusters on clients behalf and if need be, provide expert witness services admissible in court.
