New chief information officer to streamline and advance IT

Marsh & McLennan has named William Krivoshik as newly created chief information officer to oversee technology strategy, reporting directly to MMC president and CEO Brian Duperreault.

“Bill will lead the development of MMC’s overarching technology strategy and architecture,” Duperreault said. “He will evaluate the platforms, products and services across MMC, and collaborate with our corporate technology services group and MMC’s operating company CIOs to leverage advances in the areas of information and technology. I look forward to working with him to further enhance MMC’s value to clients through technology. “

Krivoshik was most recently chief technology officer at Thomson Financial. He has also worked at Citigroup, Travelers Life & Annuity and AIG.

“As one of the world’s leading professional services firms, MMC is committed to maintaining a world-class technology infrastructure that will enhance its ability to provide clients with state-of-the-art solutions,” said Krivoshik.
