Three appointments at global broker

Marsh & McLennan has appointed Daniel Glaser as group president and chief operating officer, Marsh has appointed Peter Zaffino as chief executive and Guy Carpenter has appointed Alex Moczarski as chief executive of Guy Carpenter.

Glaser, previously chairman and chief executive of Marsh, will have responsibilities for overseeing MMC's risk & insurance, consulting, technology, business services, international and client development segments.

Glaser will continue to report to MMC president and chief executive Brian Duperreault.

Zaffino was previously president and chief executive of Guy Carpenter, while Moczarski was president of the international division of Marsh.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
