Colin West and Andy Brett join broker’s financial institutions team
London (re)insurance broker Miller has hired directors’ and officers’ liabiliity (D&O) specialists Colin West (pictured) and Andy Brett.
West joins Miller from Windsor Partners, while Brett previously worked at RK Harrison. Brett has also worked for Besso.
Miller head of financial institutions Brian Horwell said: “Colin and Andy both have a tremendous amount of experience in the production and placement of specialised professional risks. Their appointments enhance a team that is already highly skilled and well regarded in the London market.”
West has 30 years’ insurance industry experience. He is a specialist in the placement of D&O, professional indemnity and crime coverage for clients in the financial institutions (FI) and professional sectors. Colin will be primarily working to grow Miller’s book of offshore and onshore FI and professional clients.
Brett worked in the London insurance market for 17 years. He is a producer and broker of commercial and financial D&O liability, transactional risk and professional liability coverage for clients based in the USA. Andy will be developing Miller’s book of US D&O clients.
