Readers may recall some research conducted recently by Finsure on brokers' premium finance strategies.

All well and good - that is until Backchat's attention was drawn to a comment that was inadvertently left in Finsure's final report.

Someone from Finsure had noted: "I am not sure whether the 100 [brokers surveyed] is representative..."

So how much value is the research then?

A Finsure spokesman admitted: "It was probably better to get a representative sample. We were trying to be open about it." Backchat thinks that100 brokers may be all that's left soon.
