Move set to strengthen its property owners' porfolio

Intermediary only insurer, MMA Insurance has announced the addition of their commercial property owners product to the Acturis broker platform, as part of their ongoing strategy to grow their property owners’ portfolio.

The product provides cover for premises let to a wide range of commercial enterprises, shops, offices, warehouses and manufacturers. Last year, MMA announced enhancements in the cover to include an increased limit for owner contents.

The Acturis broker platform is available to all new commercial property owners business and enables brokers to receive and bind quotes from MMA, with minimal paperwork. Brokers can also access policy documentation on bound policies and are able to renew cover directly via their Acturis system.

MMA’s commercial underwriting manager Ian Page said: “Our property owners portfolio is an important aspect of our continued strategy to offer brokers strong commercial products designed specifically for the residential and commercial property owners market. By using the Acturis platform we make these products more easily available, a key aspect of our broker service.”

Acturis insurer development manager Luke Shepherd, said: “MMA's extensive range of commercial lines products have been received positively by the brokers using our platform. Commercial property owners is MMA’s sixth product collaboration with Acturis. MMA already offers master tradesman plus, offices, shops, motor and home and profile products via the platform. Further roll-outs including commercial vehicle are planned for the future.
