Broker insurer appoints four in Chelmsford

Broker insurer MMA has appointed a team to lead its new regional office in Chelmsford.

The Chelmsford regional team includes: Owen Hendry, business development manager, Paul Denton, regional underwriting manager, Anthony Walker, senior regional underwriter and Nick Cook, senior regional underwriter.

Derek Plummer, commercial director of MMA said: “The team running the Chelmsford office has significant experience both with MMA and within the local market. They can demonstrate a proven track record and expertise in the market which will enable them to make the most of opportunities in East Anglia and the South East.”

MMA said it will continue to grow the team as broker demand increases.

The Chelmsford office was opened in April as part of the insurer’s commercial lines expansion announced earlier this year.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
