Welsh broker Moorhouse Group has launched a new in-house training academy to train its expanding workforce and comply with FSA regulations.

The Moorhouse academy's remit is to ensure that the company's workforce is conversant with the broker's products, specific insurance subjects, procedures and the latest sales techniques.

Bradley Watson, Moorhouse's new training and quality manager, said: “Over the past year the company's workforce has grown from 50 to over 80 and it is likely to grow further. A centralised training function was required to ensure that all staff received the best possible training.”
