Legal expenses provider adds two more years to network deal

MSL Legal Expenses has announced a two-year extension to its contract with Westinsure Group, taking the relationship to 2011.

Brokers allied to Westinsure will be able to offer a bespoke portfolio of domestic and commercial legal expenses products under Westinsure’s own branded range.

Brokers will also have access to MSL’s portfolio of assistance products - UK and European Breakdown, home assistance and identity theft along with MSL Connect, an online system that allows for tracking of motor claims in real-time. Both parties are in talks to build on the current suite of bespoke products.

Gabriel Bradley, UK business development manager at MSL said: “We are pleased to maintain and develop this mutually-beneficial relationship with one of the largest network organisations in the broking sector.

“We have worked with Westinsure to reach an agreement that benefits their members in terms of providing products tailored to meet their clients’ needs and that deliver financial returns. Underlining this is our commitment to customer service and operating a true partnership approach.”

Westinsure’s head of sales Andy Waring added: “MSL responded with a compelling and competitive proposition that offered enhanced financial benefits to our members. Another point in their favour was that they could handle the entire claims process without having to resort to outsourcing. This, combined with their commitment to service and reputation in the market, influenced our decision to maintain and extend the relationship.

“We expect that the launch of a range of enhanced legal expenses products will boost their value with our members and support greater sales.”
