20% stake in health insurer Daman extended to 2019
German reinsurer Munich Re has extended until 2019 a partnership with Daman, a health insurance company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The government of Abu Dhabi owns 80% of Daman and Munich Re owns 20%.
Daman began operating in 2006 and has an 80% share of Abu Dhabi's health insurance market.
