Ratings agency Moody's has changed its outlook on the Aa3 insurance financial strength rating of Metropolitan P&C, a US insurer, to negative from stable.
Moody's said the company's recent operating performances had fallen below expectations, mainly because of its homeowners division.
The agency added that the current insurance financial strength rating reflected the implicit support for Metropolitan P&C from its parent MetLife.
MetLife is approximately the 11th largest personal motor and homeowners insurance company in the US, with nearly $2.7bn (£1.9bn) in annual net written premiums.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
