Ian Passmore replaces Mike Alcock who gets new role with Zurich
Endsleigh has appointed Ian Passmore as its new managing director.
Passmore will take over from Mike Alcock, the current managing director, who has been appointed as head of distribution development for Zurich’s UK General Insurance business.
Passmore is currently the sales and marketing Director for Endsleigh, a position he has held for the last 12 years.
Mike Alcock said: “This appointment recognises the pivotal role Ian has played in delivering the growth achieved by the business and will ensure that Endsleigh will maintain its clear focus on delivery and provide continuity and stability in these uncertain economic times.”
Guy Munnoch, chief executive, Zurich said: “I am delighted that Ian is succeeding Mike to lead Endsleigh, he has a wealth of experience of the business and played a significant role in contributing to its sustained success.”
Both appointments are subject to approval by the Financial Services Authority and will being on 1 May, 2009.
