Kennedys has appointed Ric Martin to the newly created position of chief executive, in a move which the company says will help to further the group's position, both nationally and internationally.

Martin is qualified as a solicitor in Australia and Hong Kong, as well as England.

He joins the firm from Townleys, where he was also chief executive.
