Compass Underwriting has launched insureyourincome.co.uk , which offers non-discrimatory protection against the risks of unemployment and disability.
Cover is available to all UK residents below retirement age, irrespective of occupation, gender or employment status.
Policyholders must work for a minimum of 20 hours a week.
Insureyourincome.co.uk provides a monthly benefit of up to £2,500 or 75% of gross monthly income after a waiting period of 30 days.
Premiums start at £2.50 per £100 of monthly benefits – protecting £800 of income would attract a premium of £20 a month.
