Broking giant Marsh has made three senior appointments to its UK business.

Mike Cooper-Mitchell has been made chief executive of Marsh Corporate Services. His responsibilities include client and market services, finance, human resources and projects and compliance. He began his career with Sedgwick Collins in 1965 and has played a leading role in Marsh's European business.

Mike Hammond becomes chief executive of Marsh UK. His responsibilities include client management and risk consulting, middle market, affinity and private client services. Hammond has 20 years' experience in insurance and reinsurance broking and risk management consulting in the UK and US.

Steve Matanle is appointed chief executive of Marsh Speciality Operations and is responsible for its marine and energy, aviation, global broking and financial and professional practices. He was formerly chief executive and chairman of Marsh Global Broking in London.
