CNA has appointed Stephen Shepherd as the head of its claims operations in Europe.
Shepherd will be responsible for all marine and non-marine claims activities in Europe.
He is joining CNA from AIG where he was based in Paris as vice president, Financial Lines Claims.
CNA's European chief executive, Keith Davies, said: "Stephen's appointment reflects our mission to build a first class organisation in Europe, based upon the straightforward formula of providing value-added products backed by outstanding service in claims."
