Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) has launched a new service to advise on next year's tax pension changes.

Executive Benefits will offer advice to both employers and employees, both of whom face substantial issues as a result of tax changes to pension schemes from April 2006.

The company said: “The days when employers could recruit and retain senior people just by paying them a salary and giving them a pension scheme booklet are gone.

“Many employers are now recognising the importance of identifying those employees who may be affected by the legislative changes, to ensure they get the correct information and advice.

“We recognise there is currently a high demand for advice on executive benefits within many different types of organisation. At the moment the main focus is around the April 2006 tax changes.

"Employers who do not fully understand the consequences may find themselves with some very disgruntled senior employees come next April.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
