Ark Syndicate Management, which was launched last week as Syndicate 4020 with a stamp capacity in 2007 of £114m, is to use processing provided by Northdoor.
Northdoor, a provider of full lifecycle solutions, has said that when Ark Syndicate Management launched on 19 March, it used its suite of underwriting and messaging solutions to handle its policy and claims administration, credit control and transaction processing.
The syndicate, which will begin writing policies incepting from 1 April, will underwrite a diversified, book of insurance and reinsurance, in marine, energy, property and casualty classes.
Ark's holding company is Bermuda-based Group Ark Insurance Holdings.
