New RSA sales director joins from Aviva

RSA has appointed a new sales director within its Global Specialty Lines (GSL) UK business.  

Owen Thomas has joined RSA from Aviva, where he spent almost nine years, playing an integral role in establishing its corporate risk solutions business and managing a team of 17 as the division expanded to corporate and speciality risks.

In his new role, he will be responsible for sales across all of RSA’s GSL UK property and casualty business, managing a team of broker development managers and developing the company’s Global Promise proposition ahead of further roll-out.

RSA’s global relationships director Steve Hatherall said: “Owen has fantastic experience and a real understanding of the industry that makes him a particularly strong addition to our team. I look forward to working closely with Owen as we continue to focus on delivering market-leading service to our customers and brokers.”
