5,000 broker jobs at risk
Almost 5,000 broker employees could lose their jobs as a result of the slowdown in the UK economy, a report warned. The research, by Plimsoll Publishing, found that in the 1,730 largest brokers in the UK almost a third would be axing staff. The cuts were attributed to declining turnover and rising salaries.
