Fitch upgrades NU
Fitch has upgraded Aviva International Insurance, Aviva Insurance and Norwich Union Insurances’ Insurer Financial Strength ratings from 'AA-' to 'AA', despite the £235m hit from the UK floods. The outlook for the group is stable.
Ntegrity poaches two
Start-up PI broker Ntegrity has poached Lockton employee David Gleeson and Alison Duffield of Marsh. They will become director of PI and account executive respectively. The broker also plans to launch two new products during the first quarter of 2008 and a further seven in the near future.
PWS hires SBJ director
PWS Holdings has appointed Richard Cirsch as managing director of its Marine Division. He joins PWS from the board of Lloyd’s broker, SBJ.
