Xchanging rings changes

Business processing firm Xchanging has appointed Mark Badman, Greg Denham and Alan Ratcliff to its Xchanging

Ins-sure Services (XIS) division. All three join from electronic reinsurance trading platform RI3K, bought by Qatar Insurance Services last November. Ratfcliff has joined Xchanging as implementation quality director. Denham has been appointed portfolio manager, responsible for workflow and internal systems development. Badman has been named project manager, supporting Denham.

Capita doubles up

Capita has appointed Vic Gysin as joint chief operating officer. Gysin was previously divisional director of Capita’s insurance and investor services division. He will take his new role alongside Andy Parker, currently divisional director for Capita’s ICT, health and business services division. Both Gysin and Parker have joined the Capita board.

New members for network

Broker Network has signed Archenfield Insurance Management as a full member, and Affinity Brokers and Severn Bay Corporate Solutions have joined the membership for start-ups. Samson Insurance Services has joined the network’s sister company Countrywide, which offers a range of IT system and support, as a standard member. Heywood Financial has upgraded its membership to Countrywide Plus.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
