’Prioritising innovation and digitalisation to enhance the customer experience and make travel protection even smarter will be crucial in the coming years, as AI is fundamentally changing how customers discover destinations and book their holidays,’ says chief financial officer

Allianz Partners has renewed its partnership with tourism giant Tui Group under a four-year contract, effective from 1 November 2026.

The partnership provides Tui customers with access to travel insurance and protection offerings that encompass coverage, assistance and support before, during and after every trip.

It currently covers 11 European markets including Germany, the UK, Ireland, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Romania – with further markets under consideration.

The next phase of the partnership will focus on making travel protection smarter, simpler and more seamless.

Jacob Fuest, chief markets officer at Allianz Partners, said: “The renewal of our partnership with Tui Group confirms the trust and shared ambition that has defined this collaboration from the start.

”We are proud that Tui Group continues to place its confidence in us. At the heart of our partnership is a simple promise – helping travellers book and travel with confidence by providing travel protection, assistance and support at every stage of the journey. As we look ahead, we will harness the latest technology and data-driven insights to make travel protection even more seamless and reassuring for every Tui Group customer.”

Next phase

A key priority for the next phase of the partnership includes expanding co-operation with Tui Group through new markets and distribution channels.

It is also focused on innovation and digitalisation as the companies look to enhance the customer experience by leveraging their respective artificial intelligence (AI) investments, while Allianz Partners looks to rollout its AI-enabled quotation and optimisation platform for travel insurance.

Mathias Kiep, chief financial officer at Tui Group, said: “We are delighted to continue our successful longstanding relationship with Allianz Partners.

”When it comes to insurance, it is of utmost importance to have a strong and reliable partner. Tui stands for peace of mind from booking to return.

”An integrated travel insurance policy seamlessly extends this brand promise to cover unforeseen events before or during the trip. Prioritising innovation and digitalisation to enhance the customer experience and make travel protection even smarter will be crucial in the coming years, as AI is fundamentally changing how customers discover destinations and book their holidays.”
