Gallagher’s account director talks to Insurance Times about his strong performance in this year’s Fantasy Football league
Gameweek 10 of the Premier League kicks off tonight with high-flying promoted team Coventry City’s visit to an equally in-form Everton, at 20:00.
This means Insurance Times Fantasy Football League managers until 18.30 to lock in their transfers for the gameweek, with fixtures such as Arsenal v Hull and Chelsea v Sunderland looking interesting.

Before that though, Insurance Times caught up in-form manager Chay Thornborough, account director at Gallagher.
Thornborough currently sits fifth in the league on 647 points – just one behind the manager in fourth.
1. Congratulations on your performance so far, what has been the key to a solid start this year?
It’s been a good start to the season so far, but things can quickly go wrong.
The inclusion of dual Arsenal defensive players Ezri Konsa and Gabriel has helped. They have been as solid as a rock.
Saliba should be back soon too, giving managers a selection headache.

Brighton’s Pascal Gross and Maxim De Cuyper have also been points magnets during this first part of the season, while Morgan Rogers has made a strong start at Chelsea – he’s class.
2. What are the key decisions to make ahead of game week 10?
The big decision is whether to stick with a Haaland captaincy, since he blanked recently in the league.
The Man City case and the charges against the club may have an impact longer term, but Haaland is usually super reliable so the chances are that I will go with him again.
Otherwise, Chealsea play Sunderland this weekend so both Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers could have good potential points.
3. Who would you call out as an under-rated player for everyone’s Fantasy squad?

There are so many under-rated players in the game at the moment.
Barry at Everton seems to be on a roll. Jackson at Villa is in cracking form right now.
Van Hecke at Spurs and Tavernier at Bournemouth are also playing well at the moment, while Mbeumo at Man United continues perform despite his team’s struggles.
4. Who or what would you like to call out in the insurance industry?
Shout out to all my friends and colleagues at Gallagher, Insurance Times, the whole insurance community, FPL players and The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal for all their great work.
