Why did you put yourselves forward for the category?

Andrew Martin, founder and chief executive at DynaRisk

We put ourselves forward for this category because the technology behind our entry was built specifically to support underwriting and distribution. Our clients are winning new business, writing better risks and engaging insureds, which leads to higher retention.

Since launch, we’ve constantly refined the product around these exact use cases. We wanted to highlight how we are helping customers grow in a challenging market.

What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?

What makes our entry stand out is how the product has developed over the years to suit this market. It started as comprehensive risk assessments, helping underwriters continuously monitor their book and helping brokers have better conversations about cyber. It has since grown into a full suite of solutions that helps clients from prospecting through to quote, bind, ongoing risk management and claims.

Along the way we’ve expanded our industry-leading dataset and added features that help users understand cyber risk at both a micro and macro level. These include our ransomware explorer, customer cyber exposure reports that help programme owners position partnerships with potential distributors and artificial intelligence (AI) features that make complex insight easier to understand.

What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

Winning this award would be a huge achievement for our fantastic team. This category really is the bread and butter of what we do, so a win would recognise the work we’re doing to disrupt the market and help the industry stop shooting in the dark on cyber.

We believe leading with data and facts is how the cyber market will grow. This award would be a great endorsement of that approach and of the clients and partners who support us.
