Zurich Online goes live for brokers to trade SME and specialty business

Zurich has launched its new broker trading platform for SME and Speciality business – Zurich Online. The insurer says the platform, built in collaboration with brokers, demonstrates Zurich’s wider commitment to modernisation by creating a digital experience that is intuitive, faster, and more flexible.

Zurich Online will be supported by Zurich’s centres of excellence in Leeds and Cardiff, which houses specialist underwriters who have the authority to make decisions and provide quicker responses.

The insurer has also reviewed and enhanced its SME policies as part of this launch, including a new digital combined product, which incorporates seven existing products into one, including Cyber, Contractors’ All Risks, and Legal Expenses.

Zurich head of SME Paul Tombs said: ”We’ve always listened to our brokers and we’ve constantly sought to modernise, evolve and explore new ways of making Zurich easier to deal with. We’ve the hunger and desire to help brokers win, and retain, SME business, so this launch represents a very significant and exciting step forward for Zurich and the proposition that we offer to our brokers and their clients.

“SMEs are the life blood of the UK economy and we understand that SMEs have a strong and immediate emotional connection to their business - they worked hard to build it, we work hard to protect it.”
