The first Polaris-based, commercial vehicle (CV) insurance product from NIG, is now available and live for insurE-com (www.insur-e.net) intermediaries.
The new NIG CV product is the first commercial vehicle product launched on the Polaris platform. The system enables policy information to be transmitted via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) ensuring the accurate, fast and secure exchange of business data electronically.
Prior to today's announcement, NIG's CV product was only available to intermediaries on a 'quote-only' basis. The new NIG CV product includes full-cycle capability and its availability through the insurE-com portal provides NIG with real-time control over pricing and distribution. Intermediaries benefit from a growing range of products available in real-time.
