Insurer NIG (National Insurance and Guarantee Corporation) has strengthened its ties with the agricultural industry by opening a new 'centre of excellence' in Gloucester.
The new office will reinforce its partnership with the agricultural insurance specialist FarmWeb as it will house both NIG and FarmWeb staff. It will provide up to 30 new jobs.
NIG said the launch is in line with its Commercial Divisions strategy of providing specialist underwriting and support to brokers.
NIG spokesman Colin Crofts commented: "This is a unique opportunity for NIG and we look forward to working in partnership with FarmWeb to grow our account profitability while at the same time recognising the changing needs of the agricultural community."
