NIG has made four appointments at its midlands regional office in Birmingham.

Christian McIntosh and Darren Mason have been appointed as senior business development managers, Karen Percy has been appointed as operations manager and Clare Lonnergan has joined the office as area motor underwriter.

  • McIntosh joins from Keychoice Underwriting wiill now be responsible for growing and developing business with key brokers
  • Mason joins from AXA Insurance, where he was a strategic account manager. He will be responsible for growing key broker relationships across the east midlands region
  • Percy has more than 20 years insurance experience and was previously head of business change for UK General
  • Lonnergan, who joins from Bluefin, now has responsibility for broker relationships

Andy Jones, NIG’s area business development manager for the midlands region said: “It is great to see NIG expanding in Birmingham and we are delighted to have recruited such high calibre recruits into key positions within our business."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
