The chaos and misery at Heathrow airport has yet to filter through to travel insurers. Thousands of passengers have been left stranded after 500 flights were cancelled following an unofficial walkout by British Airways staff.
Travel insurer Primary chief commercial officer John Bibby said the company had seen little activity in terms of claims. "I think BA is containing it, but the situation may change. People may claim later."
