Claims investigators take note: social networking site Facebook has a group for people who crash cars while driving without insurance.
The page, entitled “Anybody who wrote off any cars/drove with no insurance”, asks potential members to provide details of the car and the accident and how long the driver was without insurance.
With plenty of photographs and 172 members, it should be a mine of information for insurers and the police.
