Norwich Union (NU) has been forced into a senior management reshuffle after the resignation of life insurance chief executive, Gary Withers.
Mark Hodges, currently managing director of Norwich Union General Insurance (NUGI), will take control of the life sector.
Simon Machell, managing director of RAC, will become chief executive of NUGI, while also retaining responsibility for RAC.
The changes will take effect from 3 April.
