Settlement reached in consolidators legal battle with Berkeley Burke
Oval has confirmed it has been awarded a substantial six-figure sum in compensation following successful court proceedings against rival broker Berkeley Burke.
Legal action arose after four former Oval employees joined Berkeley Burke from Oval’s Luton office taking a number of Oval’s clients with them without consent, as revealed by Insurance Times in February.
In response to this Oval launched proceedings against Berkley Burke, which has now resulted in this settlement.
