Backchat went continental this week embarking on a wine tasting jaunt to the home of wine, France. RSA took the trade press to Paris and began proceedings with a meal in the Eiffel Tower.
This was surely a case of lining the stomach as a drinking session in a Parisian wine cellar followed.
Taught how to drink like a professional, the group soon turned into Oz and Jilly wannabes proclaiming floral aromas rising from the glass.
On returning to London there were a few sore heads and not just from the low cellar doorways.
